Sometimes an artist has to weigh the benefits of gifting cherished artworks, versus waiting for someone to buy them.
I gifted these two small paintings to my dear friends, because I'd rather have them seen and appreciated by people I love, than store them away in a dusty, dark closet in antipation of a buyer that may never materialize.
It was well worth it!
