I'm proud to announce that this painting has been sold.The purchaser, who has a beautiful new home, said he wants to "fill his house with color."
That's exciting for me, because I love color so much!
To get started, I visited Lake Sacajawea and took photos of rhododendron blossoms. There were so many different colors and shapes!
After that Allan and I each did a plein air painting at the Japanese Gardens. As soon as the paint is dry, I'll post it. I like how it turned out.
In the meantime, I'm working out some ideas (in my mind) for new paintings! That, along with finishing up several larger works that I hope will convince a Portland gallery to accept me.
